| Abstract | As an engineer, the author is aware that broadcasting functions could soon be greatly enhanced, enabling an intelligent broadcasting system with multiple channels and interactivity, adding new dimensions to traditional one-way services and contributing to an overall enrichment of TV watcher's lives. Broadcasting is a core information medium because it can easily provide large numbers of people simultaneously with a large volume of information, particularly images. In this regard, broadcasting will continue to play an important role in enriching the culture of our society in the coming multimedia era. An enlightened array of legislation would seem to be vital to our continued success. |
