Abstract | In 1995, advertisers paid nearly $4.4 million to have their products featured on the 161 public trams that rattle their way along the northern shore of Hong Kong Island. Two other antique models are reserved for tourists, special promotions and parties. They are the aristocrats. But even if they did accept advertising, they probably wouldn't attract any. What the clients want is something that is the very opposite of posh. |
