| Abstract | Jiangsu, which borders Shanghai in eastern China, has been a petroleum producer for a long time and has the potential to accelerate output in the years to come. Exploration for and production of petroleum in the province has been undertaken by the Jiangsu Oil Exploration Corp, which has produced an accumulative 10 million tonnes of crude oil from its 465 production wells sunk in northern Jiangsu. |
