| Abstract | While more detailed implementing regulations of the Equity Joint Venture (EJV) Law came into effect in 1983, it was not until last month new implementing regulations were issued detailing the Co-operative Joint Venture (CJV) Law (The 'Regulations'). The Regulations formalise some of the PRC government's practices of many years in respect of approving and administering CJVs, and many of the EJV provisions that have been referred to by China practitioners in organising CJVs. |
