AbstractThe Airport Core Programme of Hong Kong's Airport Authority is one of the world's largest infrastructure underetakings. It comprises ten interlinked projects, focussed on construction of a new airport at Chek Lap Kok to replace Kai Tak airport. The mammoth $158 billion project, more than half completed by the end of 1995, is scheduled to open for business by April, 1998.
