| Abstract | The face of Hong Kong is constantly changing. Town planners, urban and landscape designers and architects must ensure that such change is good. The Central and Wanchai Reclamation project is undoubtedly the most significant urban development programme the territory is ever likely to face. The planners and urban designers behind the development have taken on a huge responsibility; a responsibility that they will pass on to the architects and landscapers who must turn design theory into tangible reality. |
