| Abstract | Hong Kong is a very compact and congested city that sports and recreation services may not be of a high priority in competing demands for resource allocatiion for medical, housing, education and other social services. Fortunately, the Hong Kong Government recognizes that provision for recreation and sports has become an increasingly important prerogative of life for the citizens and that land and other resources have to be allocated to fulfill this purpose. |
