| Abstract | Cathay Pacific has taken delivery of the first of four ultra long-range Airbus A340-200s it is leasing pending delivery of the six A340-300s ordered for 1996-97. The aircraft will be the first-ever from Airbus to enter service with the Hong Kong airline, and the only non-Rolls-Royce powered aircraft in the Cathay fleet. |
