| Abstract | The Netherlands was the fourth largest foreign investor in Hong Kong's manufacturing sector in 1993. Accumulated industrial investments from the Netherlands were valued at nearly $16 billion, or four percent of the total foreign industrial investments in Hong Kong. The new European Union Generalized System of Preferences Scheme (GSP) for 1995-1998 has come into force, and Hong Kong remains a beneficiary. |
