| Abstract | With tertiary education becoming more available, there will be an adequate supply of degree graduates to render the proposed graduate entry policy feasible. A survey by the Hong Kong Society of Accountants in 1993 indicated that the local tertiary institutions will produce more than 1,200 accounting graduates a year from 1997. The total number of accounting graduates will increase from 235,400 in 1996 to 320,800 in the year 2001. |
