AbstractIn 1965 The Hong Kong Institute of Architects (HKIA) Awards were organised and recorded for the first time. This innovative event became an annual tradition and the consequent catalogue of winning buildings reflects the extent of Hong Kong's architectural development over the years. There are three categories of award in the HKIA Annual Awards, including the Silver Medal, the Certificate of Merit and the President's Prize.
