| Abstract | Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the third most common cause of death due to cancer in Hong Kong. Most of these cancers are diagnosed at a late stage, when they are not amenable to curative treatment. Over the past three decades, many advances have come about in the early diagnosis and treatment of CRC. This paper reviews some of the recent concepts and techniques, and the possibility of applying these in Hong Kong. |
