| Abstract | David Richards and Peter Basmajian established their partnership in 1986, setting up two companies, Richards Basmajian Ltd in Hong Kong and Richards Basmajian Pte. Ltd in Singapore which were subsequently incorporated with limited liability. Both companies operations cover different regions, the Hong Kong company undertaking architectural and interior design projects in Hong Kong, China and Taiwan, while the Singapore office concentrates on interior design work in Singapore and South East Asia. Both partners prior to their association had a great deal of architectural experience. The author surveys some of their more innovative projects, including the Manchurian Complex and other projects in China. |
