| Abstract | The Government received the Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation's formal proposal for the construction and operation of the Western Corridor Railway (WCR) last month. The WCR will be the largest single rail project ever undertaken in Hong Kong, stretching from Tuen Mun town centre to West Kowloon, initially as far as Yen Chow street but ultimately as far as Jordan Road. |
