| Abstract | A jadeite bangle sold for US$1.56 million at an auction of Christie's in Hong Kong in May 1995. The bangle, lot 903, with an interior diameter of 53mm and a thickness of 9mm was sold to a collector in Asia. "The price is a record for a jadeite bangle sold at an auction," director of the international jadeite department at Christie's, Edmond Chin, said. |
