Abstract | RTKL Associates Inc, an international architectural firm with offices in Hong Kong, has completed schematic design and won city approval for Guan Hua Plaza, a one-million-square foot mixed use complex. The US$50 million project, located in the Western District of Old Town Beijing, encompasses retail and office components, a major bank/stock exchange, and a 100-room, 3-star hotel. Developed by Beijing Huayuan Real Estate Company, one of the city's largest developers, the project begins construction at the end of 1995 and is slated for completion in late 1997. |
