| Abstract | It was three years ago when Ole Soltau discovered that living on a boat was a very popular dream. Expats particularly, observed Soltau, thought wistfully about the possibility of living on a boat in a Marina, but had no idea how to set about organising the purchase of a boat never mind how to make it habitable or arrange the neccessary insurance, basic facilities or services. With an eye for a business opportunity and the possibility of combining it with his pleasure and interest in life on the sea, the ex-finance and quality management executive set about filling a niche in the market. |
