AbstractAssets worth millions of dollars have disappeared from the accounts of a company facing an unlimited fine for manslaughter. Ajax Engineering and Surveyors, responsible for the safety of a building site lift that crashed, killing 12 men, had assests of $4 million in 1992. They now stand at $100,000.
