| Abstract | The Securities (Insider Dealing) Ordinance (Cap. 395) provides, amongst other things, for the constitution of the Insider Dealing Tribunal which comprises a chairman and 2 other members. The Tribunal inquiries into cases involving possible insider dealing in listed securities or derivatives. Current investigations by the Securities and Futures Commission into suspected cases of insider dealing are likely to generate a caseload beyond the capacity of the Tribunal as presently constituted. |
