| Abstract | Few Chinese artists have either an agent or a dealer to help them.Many do not even know of a gallery that would be prepared to display or sell their works on a regular basis. But they have found one way of introducing their art to the market - the annual China Arts Exposition. Started in 1993, the exposition is still in its infancy compared with the renowned shows in Western Europe and the US. To test its market potential, the organizers mof the CAE held the previous two events in Guangzhou, southern China. |
