AbstractThe tallest structure on Chek Lap Kok, the site for Hong Kong's new airport, towers 78.6 metres over the flat landscape of the 1,248-hectare airport platform. Being the most visible structure on the site, it will function as the future Air Traffic Control Tower. Construction of the $360 million Air Traffic Control Complex and Tower is scheduled for completion in December 1996.
