| Abstract | With growing awareness of a developing domestic debt market in the Asia region, several Asian countries have stepped up their efforts to cater for the demands of this emerging market. While the traditional bank loan and equity markets will continue to provide funds to fuel the rapidly expanding regional economies, financing the large-scale, long-term infrastructure projects in Asia has precipitated the need for a well-developed debt market. |
