AbstractEnterprises which have played the local production card have had rather encouraging results: Volkswagen is said to have almost half of the automobile market, the Janssen J.V. in Xi'an is probably the biggest pharmaceuticals laboratory in East China, Procter & Gamble the leader on the hair-product market. But how can those companies which have not applied this strategy, i.e. most foreign companies, gain access to the market of the twenty-first century? How to distribute in China?
