AbstractAbout 20% of patients with heart failure (HF) can not tolerate Metoprolol (M) and a test does of 6.25 mg p.o. is usually given. Vasodilator Beta-blockers (VDBB) have theoretical advantages but these may not be apparent at very low doses.
