| Abstract | Following the computerisation of the urban land registers in 1991, it is only logical to computerise the New Territories land registers as well. However, this had not been given priority until the Land Registry became a trading fund body in August 1993. "Given greater finanical autonomy, the Land Registry can embark on the computerisation project of the NT land registers much sooner than envisaged." |
