Article TitleThe Hong Kong stock market.
Is Part OfHong Kong economic report ; Jan/Feb 1995, p.1-5, illus.
AbstractThe recent downward adjustment in the stock market was primarily caused by a sustained rise in interest rates. Concern about the overheated Chinese economy, as well as continuous fund redemption in the wake of turbulence in the global financial markets, has exerted further pressure to sell. In 1995, the market will continue to be influenced by the movement of interest rates.
