| Abstract | Research carried out on over 800 old people from various sectors in Hong Kong's elderly population by Mr Dennis Au Kin-Kwok, a lecturer and audiologist in the Department of Surgery, University of Hong Kong, shows that over 44 per cent of Hong Kong's old people suffer mild hearing loss.A further 21 per cent have mild to moderate disability, ten per cent moderate and over ten per cent severe. |
