| Abstract | The promulgation by the State Council of the latest Chinese Securities Regulations regarding companies represents another step towards full regulation of corporate activity in the People's Republic of China. This paper considered a number of the provisions contained in the Regulativons and discussed the practical effect of the provisions for overseas investors, analysing as well as of the approach taken by the Chinese authorities in producing the new regulations. |
