| Abstract | A string of lacklustre corporate results was broken this week when Henderson Land Development surprised analysts with a 62 per cent jump in interim earnings against a background of a soggy real estate market. Henderson net profits were $3.8 billion for the half-year to December and the dividend payment was hoisted from 40 cents to 50 cents. Earnings per share perked up from $1.47 to $2.38. |
