| Abstract | When CNT Group chairman Tsui Tsin-tong sold the China Harbour View Hotel in Wanchai to Pearl Oriental Holdings for $620 million in 1993, he probably did not imagine the building's value would soar to $1.6 billion after eight months of redevelopment as offices. A similar story could be told by SEA Holdings, which sold three floors of the Citicorp Centre in Causeway Bay to POH for $210 million last November - a week later, POH resold for $276 million, a $66 million profit. |
