| Abstract | An unusual case of an urethral foreign body causing an urethral fistula in a 13-year-old boy is presented. The diagnosis was confirmed by retrograde urethrography and treated successfully by urethroscopic removal of the foreign body and subsequent Foley catheter bladder drainage. A high index of suspicion is needed to make the diagnosis as the patient denied any history of self-instrumentation of the urethra. |
