| Abstract | On June 14 last year, at the meeting on National Educational Work organised by the State Council, arrangements were made for the implementation of a programme called An Outline of Reforms and Development of Education in China. Under this programme, to match the profound changes in education and to promote its expansion in China, it was proposed that a Concern for Advancement of Education in All Aspects of Chinese Society be set up in Hong Kong. |
