| Abstract | This article is derived from a speech made by Margaret Davis at the 25th Jubilee of the Catholic Marriage Council in Hong Kong in December 1990. Dr. Jack Dominion was the guest speaker. The author gives an account of her personal experience working as an English marriage counsellor in Hong Kong. She discusses models used in marriage counselling, special factors in Hong Kong which cause stress on a marriage, the process and quality of the marriage relationshop and two common problems which couples bring to counselling. |
