| Abstract | Since January 1994, the Chinese government has cancelled export subsidies to tungsten, molybdenum and antimony, and levied resources tax, VAT and consumption tax on mines, thus increasing the burden of mining enterprises. It is estimated therefore that the prices of tungsten, molybdenum and antimony on domestic and international markets will remain strong for some time to come. |
