| Abstract | As budget day approaches Financial Secretary Sir Hamish MacLeod is preparing to cope with an economy which is viewed with envy the world over and those holding similar fiscal positions in countries overseas would frankly give their eye teeth to be in his shoes. But there are puffs of forbidding black cloud dotted on Hong Kong's horizon. They signify genuine concerns, and there is a growing vociferous number of Hong Kong Society of Accountants members who are saying these concerns should be addressed by Sir Hamish in what is likely to be his last budget. |
