| Abstract | The diagnostic accuracy of a positive McMurray Test obtained clinically or under anaesthesia against arthroscopically proven meniscal tears was being evaluated. Over a three-year period, 230 knee injuries were evaluated. The authors recommend that the McMurray Test to be performed completely in clinical as well as under anaesthesia, and to be interpreted in conjunction with other investigations in equivocal tests. |
