| Abstract | In March last year, the International Fund for Animal Welfare's (IFAW) Asia representative, Jill Robinson, visited a bear farm in Zhuhai. Though unlicensed by the government, the farm was open to visitors. In it, Ms Robinson found bears in cramped cages, with plastic tubing projecting through their skin. Through the tubing, the bears could be m̀ilked' for their bile. |
