| Abstract | The new airport at Chek Lap Kok is a replacement airport, not an unnecessary luxury or extravagant gesture, and as such it is reassuring to see the latest diplomatic exchanges apparently signalling that the financing side of things may finally be heading towards resolution in this the Year of the Dog. |
