| Abstract | Hong Kong is the only major deep-water port south of Tianjin where third and fourth generation container ships can call. There is enormous volume of trade passes through. The 15 per cent growth rate is likely to continue so that by the summer of 1995, we can be sure that severe congestion will develop in our port. There are three areas of difficult which have caused problems get to be solved for future planning. |
