| Abstract | The social and welfare orientation towards juvenile deliquency of the police, which is similar to that of the social work profession, has paved the ways for possible cooperation between the two professions in the helping process of the "youth-at-risk". With the above understanding, areas of possible cooperation between the two bodies of professionals, specifically patrolling police officers and outreaching social workers, are suggested in this paper. |
