| Abstract | Up to December 1991, a cumulative total of 59 cases of AIDS have been reported in Hong Kong. Of these, 39 have died. Under the HIV Surveillance Programme of the Department of Health, a total of 265 persons were found to be infected. About two-third of the HIV positive individuals were Chinese. |
