AbstractA couple of miles from the Hongkong-China border near Shataukok is the Hakka village of Sheung Wo Hang, ancestral home of the Lee clan, once 3,000 strong. One of the village structures, an old study hall, has been designated a protected monument and will eventually house a museum of Hakka pottery, textiles, handicrafts and ancient work tools.
