AbstractIf you had asked me before the airport agreement, I would have said Chek Lap Kok is scrapped? "Terrific!", enthused UDL's (United Dockyards Limits) Leung Yat Tung. UDL is one company that could have benefitted from the premature demise of Hong Kong's second airport. UDL specialises in the type of dredging and reclamation work that an expansion of Kai Tak would have required. Instead, the company will have to content itself with a one million cubic metre dredging sub-contract for the West Kowloon Reclamation Project.
