| Abstract | Renovating buildings has become big business in Hong Kong. While not equaling new construction in either floor area affected or value of work performed, this exercise of renewal and refurbishment nevertheless will total about $4.5 billion by the end of this year. This article takes a look at the cases of Macau Monetary Authority Building, Hong Kong Hilton, Printing House, Kowloon British School, Stanhope House and Bela Vista Hotel. |
